Clearing your browser cache

In order to view the latest version of QT you want to make sure you clear your web browser cache (recent saved web data). It's a good practice to do this about once a week or anytime you have a issue with QT. Clearing your cache makes sure you are using the most up to date code because we make a lot of updates.

In all the major Windows browsers you can get to the clear cache page by using the keyboard shortcut CTRL + SHIFT + DELETE. Scroll down for Mac instructions.

Then use the following options:

Microsoft Edge

Select "Cached data and files" and click Clear.

Mozilla Firefox

Set Time range to Everything and select "Cache", then click Clear Now

Google Chrome

Set Clear the following items from "the beginning of time" and select "Cached images and files", then click Clear browsing data.

Microsoft Internet Explorer

Select "Temporary Internet files" and click Delete.

Safari

For Windows, use the following keyboard shortcut to clear the browser's cache.
CTRL + ALT + E, then click Empty

Mac

For a Mac, click the Safari menu, then Reset Safari...

Then select "Remove all website data" and click Reset.

Advanced: Enable the Develop menu to get easy access to an "Empty Caches" option. Read more about that here
