Set or Update Default Sales Tax Rate Used on Invoices

To set or update your default sales tax rate click Invoice in the main menu, then click Invoice Settings in the secondary menu. To set the default sales tax rate enter it as a percent and not a decimal. Example: A sales tax rate of 5% would be entered as "5" and not "0.05".

While you're here you can set many other default settings on your invoices.

Your default sales tax rate is automatically entered on all your invoices, but you can change the rate on the invoice if necessary.
