Merge Customers or Consultants
If you end up with a duplicate entry for the same customer or consultant you can merge them into one entry. The instructions below are specific to customers, but the same process applies for consultants.
To prevent duplicates from being imported make sure the customer email address in InTouch and QT match. If customer does not have an email address make sure first and last name match.
You can merge two customers at a time. If you have more than two entries for a customer you can do the merge again.
- Select the two customers you would like to merge.
- Select a Master Record. This is the entry that will be kept and all information that is merged will go into this entry.
- Select individual items from either entry that you would like to keep in the merged entry.
- Click the Merge Customers button.
The following information will be merged from both records: Bookings, exchanges, sold gift certificates, invoices, wish list, follow ups, loan/borrow, purchase history, and customer payment balance.
The following information will be deleted for the non-Master Record: ProPay card profile, customer credit balance, customer sub group, prospect profile, skin care profile and hostess information.
